From Darkness to Purpose
My journey is not typical. It is forged through years of hardship, transformation, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

16 Years Among the Worst of the Worst
I spent 16 years in prison, surrounded by some of the most dangerous and volatile individuals imaginable. Every day was a test of survival, patience, and self-control. In that environment, anger was not just an emotion — it was a constant companion that could mean the difference between life and death.
During those years, I witnessed firsthand what uncontrolled anger does to people. I saw lives destroyed, relationships shattered, and futures erased — all because of an inability to manage rage. But I also saw something else: the possibility of change. Even in the darkest places, I saw people transform when given the right tools and guidance.
A Full Pardon and a New Mission
Upon my release, I was granted a full pardon — a recognition that I had truly transformed. But freedom was not just about leaving prison walls behind. It was about finding purpose. I knew that my experience, as painful as it was, had given me something invaluable: a deep, authentic understanding of anger and how to overcome it.
I made a commitment to use my experience to help others. Not from a textbook. Not from a classroom. But from the trenches of real life, where anger management is not theoretical — it is a matter of survival.
Certified Anger Management Specialist
I pursued extensive training in anger management, earning my certification as a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS). This rigorous program combined with my lived experience creates a unique approach that resonates with clients who have tried traditional counseling without success.
My training covers cognitive behavioral techniques, emotional regulation strategies, communication skills, stress management, and conflict resolution — all grounded in evidence-based practices and enhanced by real-world understanding.
Why I Do This Work
Every person who walks through my door — or logs into my online sessions — carries a story. Some are court-ordered. Some come voluntarily. But all of them share one thing: they want to change. And I know, from the deepest part of my being, that change is possible.
I have lived it. I have seen it. And now, I dedicate every day to helping others achieve it. Because if someone like me can transform their life, anyone can.
